About us
ESCAPE are an environmental information, reference and pressure group drawing attention to sewage pollution issues, infrastructure failures, reporting and information systems.
We inform members and work with Environment Agency, East Devon District Council, Exmouth Town Council and others to bring about change for the achievement of excellent bathing water quality for Exmouth year round and that proven by a rigorous regimen of water quality testing and reporting.
We aim to achieve a great reduction in sewage CSO overflows, for excellent bathing water quality, year round for Exmouth well ahead of government and water company stated target dates.
We also focus on the achievement of uniform and high national standards for reporting of bathing water quality and pollution alert systems.
Our focus is primarily Exmouth for bathing water quality and sewage overflow reduction but national for information and alert systems.
